Fly fishing Coaches was created by a group of Level 2 Game angling coaches who wish to promote the sport of fly fishing.
Email addresses of the form somebody@flyfishingcoaches.co.uk are only issued to licensed coaches who have produced their appropriate certificates, CRB disclosure number and shown proof of a current first aid certificate and £5,000,000 third party insurance.
Licensed coaches have been checked by the Police (CRB check) have undergone Child Protection, Child Awareness and Child Development training as well as having their teaching ability assessed. They are also examined on their casting ability and knowledge of fly fishing, tackle selection and other related skills.
If you wish to hire a coach for coaching or as a guide, you should check that they have their ID card with them, this shows their License number and photo ID and you are then assured that you are working with a Licensed Coach..
